ARPC consultants evaluate claims, provide economic valuations and calculate economic damages in a variety of matters including commercial disputes. We assist our clients and counsel with economic fact-finding including the analysis of financial records, transaction data and market and industry data by utilizing the appropriate method of collection. Our capabilities consist of a full range of data collection methods including surveys, conducting interviews, focus groups and many others. We provide forecasts using multivariate techniques, trend analysis and advanced statistical and behavioral analysis. Our valuations and analysis are always supported by analytically sound approaches, are independent and objective, and our expert testimony is communicated in simple terms that is easily understood, even when the matter is complex or technical.

Representative engagements:

(1) ARPC performed valuations of a series of retail assets in a matter involving allegations of mismanagement and asset deterioration. In the process of valuing the assets, ARPC evaluated each facility in relation to its position in the market area in terms of pricing, competition and demand factors.

(2) ARPC has assisted numerous states and foreign countries in valuing the economic impact of proposed tax law changes. We have developed models based on stratified random samples taken from large databases of individual tax returns. Our models compute the revenue implications of alternative tax structures and economic forecasts. We also assisted in valuing the projected tax revenues that were relied upon in budgetary decision processes.
