The various processes that drive the success of a business or law firm involve complex interactions among employees, departments, systems and clients (customers). Representative engagement:

• ARPC was retained by a state entity to evaluate alternative approaches to proposed hiring freezes. We ran regression models to determine the variables that influence labor force attrition. We were then able to use historical relationships between characteristics to determine what the projected attrition and costs would be if the proposed hiring freeze was put into effect. We proposed an alternative package that included early retirement plans and various other programs that minimized the cost associated with the hiring freeze and achieved the reductions needed.
